I've never had a bad meal at this location. Amazing food, made from scratch. Expect to get restaurant level food at a reasonable price. Today I ordered the Rueben, which I can say is easily one of the very best in town. For the price, it's number one! I ordered a full today, but could have easily been filled with the half order. Sorry, I had to take a couple of bites before I took the picture. Absolutely delicious!
A true Boise staple, not to be missed. This drive-in has an eclectic menu full of tasty meals and desserts. Today, we ordered a burger and a philly cheesesteak sandwhich, both of which were delicious. I'm not sure why I hadn't stopped by in the last 20 years.
Everything we've gotten from here is amazing! Our favorites include the club focaccia *state street location only*, mushroom Swiss burger, hand cut fish sandwich, fried mushrooms, fried zucchini and my new favorite, their special of the day pub pickles! *These were deep fried mini pickles in a seasoned batter served with ranch. So good! I love that they have options for your furry friends! They have a hotdog or hamburger just for your pup. They've got tons of drink options and ice cream treats! Don't pass up on the ice cream potato! Our last visit there we had the shrimp basket with had battered shrimp toast and tater gems and the tater gems were seasoned and cooked so they were crispy and flaky! No soggy tater tots here!
An American classic. The stars were the shakes and potato ice cream!!! Burgers were solid, curly fries were great. Fun retro ambiance and extremelyyyyy affordable. Loved and would go again !
Great food with huge portions. I had the meatloaf sandwich which was featured on the shows Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Couldn't eat it all but made a good attempt. We made the mistake of going there in the rain and realizing we couldn't eat outside and there was no indoor option so we used the car but it was worth the effort. Good prices too
My wife and I were visiting Boise from Denver a few weeks ago and we ate lunch there. We split the finger steak basket and it was fantastic! Definitely going back to try more items from their vast menu the next time we come to town. Great vibe there!
They have a fabulous variety of classic American diner dishes! The service here was amazing and we got our food within only around 5 minutes. We ate on the outdoor patio, but they also have the option to go through either one of their drive-thrus. I appreciate the kindness of the person taking the orders- very friendly. Ordered the Basic Idahoan, 'The Works' Spud, as well as the Shaved Rye Dip Sandwich- all which were very delicious and tasted as if they were made at home!
Menu has something for everyone’s craving. Do not skip eating here. Juicy burgers! Walk up window, drive-thru & patio. Pet treats, endless milkshake options, burger choices. Ordered 1/2lb pastrami burger—charred perfectly with outstanding seasoning.
